Exciting Things Happening at School!

Our school fundraiser starts today, and we are excited to see our students and families get involved! We truly appreciate your support as we work together to raise funds that will provide additional opportunities and experiences for our students. Every bit of support makes a difference!

Homecoming is next week! We are excited to celebrate school spirit throughout the week. See the spirit days below and encourage your students to join in the fun! Our Spirit Store will also be open Wednesday (9/23) through Friday (9/25), giving students and families an opportunity to show their school spirit.

We are looking forward to a fun-filled week and appreciate your continued support of our students and school community!

Parents, make sure to check backpacks after school for detailed information on our fundraiser and help your student get registered if they have not already. Add your contacts, and then share with family & friends nationwide. We are so grateful for your participation and appreciate the support of our community!

Are you ready for an incredible opportunity, represent our communities, make new friends, and learn valuable life skills? Then don’t miss the Eau Claire / Sodus / Dowagiac Pageant! We will be crowning a Little Miss, Little Mr., Miss Jr. Teen, Miss Teen, up to 3 Mr. Court, & Miss & Court.

Pageant Date: November 22nd
The winner of the Miss & Mr. Pageant will advance to the prestigious Miss & Mr. Blossomtime Pageants!

Attendance Policy:

Good attendance is vital to student success. Studies show that students who are frequently absent have lower grades, lower self-esteem, and increased behavior problems. We want to help all of our students to be successful and have set up guidelines for attendance. Students are expected to be in school every day possible, but we realize that there are some reasons for absences. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to call by 9:30 am on the day of an absence when a student is absent letting us know the reason for the absence, or you will receive a call. If no call was received, the student must bring a written note from his parent or guardian stating the reason for the absence. Automatic calls will begin at 10:30. If you receive a call in error, please call the school in order for us to figure out the situation.

Please remember to keep us updated with all phone number changes.

PTO:

We encourage all of our parents to be involved with our PTO. Our meetings are held once a month at 4:00pm in our media center. Mrs. Rohdy has agreed to be the president this year.

Volunteers:

We welcome any and all suggestions and volunteers. You will need to have a volunteer form on file.
