Building Highlights

Ms. Kruckeberg's 5th grade class conducted a science experiment by putting sugar cubes in water and talked about how sugar cubes are matter. After the cubes were dissolved, the students discussed how the particles separated but were NOT destroyed because if they drank the water, it would taste sugary.

The students discovered that matter can’t be destroyed.

Dowagiac Little Spiker Volleyball Sign-up: Sign-up will take place at the new high school gym on Thursday, September 12 from 4:30-5:00 for 3rd & 4th graders with an All Skills Clinic from 5:00-6:00 p.m. 5th & 6th graders will register from 6:30-7:00 with an All Skills Clinic that will go from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Please go on-line at: to get all the details regarding this program.
