Students will begin NWEA testing the week of May 5th. Please help ensure your students get a good nights rest to do their best on the test!

May 16: 1st grade field trip to Sarett Nature Center
May 19: K-2nd grade Field trip to Slackers
May 20: 3rd-5th grade Field trip to Slackers
May 21: 3rd grade Poetry Day
May 23: 5th grade Middle School visit
May 26: No School- Memorial Day
May 29: 1/2 day of school for students
May 30: 1/2 day and last Day of School. Awards ceremony 10:00-10:30

Ms. Tavolacci is our art teacher. She inspires creativity and a love for art in her students. Ms. Tavolaccis is very patient and encouraging while the students are working through their art projects. She has a real passion for art which shines through in her teaching. Sister Lakes is lucky to have Ms. Tavolacci!

ATTENDANCE: It is very important that students are in school everyday, but the school realizes that there are some reasons for excused absences. Make sure to call the school and let us know when your student is going to be absent or the school will be calling you. When a student returns to school after any period of absence, please send a note stating the reason for the absences.

*If your student(s) is running late, please bring them to the office and sign them in.

*If you need to pick up your child early for any reason please call the office 269-782-4468.
