Hello Pat Ham Families!
I have just finished my first week with the staff and students, it was a busy one. There was a lot of energy as everyone is looking forward to the winter break!
A little bit about me…I retired after 33 rewarding years in education three years ago. My career allowed me the opportunity to work with amazing students and educators. I was able to serve students in multiple roles. I began my career as a teacher in Niles for ten years. I left Niles to become a teacher consultant with Berrien RESA where I also worked for ten years. I then became an administrator in St. Joseph, first at the building level for three years and then at the central office level for ten more years. Retirement has been wonderful, but I was excited to come back to school when Superintendent Blomgren reached out about the opportunity to finish the year at Pat Ham.
I have lived in this area almost my whole life, graduating from Buchanan High School. After graduating from Western Michigan University, I became a Niles resident and currently reside there with my husband, a retired HS teacher and coach. We have three adult children and four grandchildren (we adore being grandparents)!
I look forward to meeting you as the school year continues and the opportunity to partner with you to ensure success for your child. If you need anything, please - reach out.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and the best in the new year. Looking forward to welcoming students back on January 5th, 2026!
Sincerely,
Kelly Gaideski, Interim Principal
