HERO Expectations: Honesty, Earning and Giving Respect, Responsibility, and Orderly and Safe! Today we focused on being Orderly and Safe! Please discuss with your child how they can not only be orderly and safe at school, but in the community as well!
Please remember the importance of attendance; attendance matters! Keep up the great work families as we have several students who have not missed a single day of school to date. Let's work on getting perfect attendance for the whole month of September!
Diagnostic and Bench Mark Assessments: Students have been working hard with benchmark and diagnostic tests this week. The purpose of these assessments is find out what are students retained from their previous school year and what they need to improve on for the current school year and will eventually
END OF DAY CALLS and PICK UPS: You must call the office by 3:00 p.m. to make arrangements for your student to go home a different way. This is a policy that we have had in place and unfortunately have to enforce. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

Transportation Changes: Please remember that any changes in busing transportation need to be made directly with the Transportation Department. You can reach them at 269-782-4482.
Outside Lunches: The district does not allow outside lunches to be delivered or brought into school for the students.
Sick Children: Please call the office and report that you are keeping your child home due to illness. The Cass Van Buren Health Department requires school to report illnesses every week.
Student Council: Student council applications were made available today for students to pick up. All applications are due to Ms. Ortiz or Ms. Clanton by Wednesday, September 11th.
