Reminders

Football Tickets: Friday, September 15th will be the first home Varsity football game. Students are able to purchase student tickets in the office for $1.00. Students are not allowed to carry in any backpacks or fanny packs and MUST be accompanied by an adult. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm!

HERO Expectations: Honesty, Earning and Giving Respect, Responsibility, and Orderly and Safe! Today we focused on being Orderly and Safe! Please discuss with your child how they can not only be orderly and safe at school, but in the community as well!

Attendance:Please remember the importance of attendance; attendance matters! Let's work on getting perfect attendance for the whole month of September!

8:48 am is the START of the school day

9:00 - 9:19 am is considered TARDY

Any time after 9:20 am is considered ABSENT

3:48 pm is the END of the school day

END OF DAY CALLS and PICK UPS: You must call the office by 3:00 p.m. to make arrangements for your student to go home a different way. This is a policy that we have had in place and unfortunately have to enforce. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

BUILDING HIGHLIGHTS

Mrs. Barnes 2nd grade class is hard at work! They are learning to build words. Way to go!!!

Ms. Ortiz's class along with Mr. Suvarna's class worked together on a team building activity. They were paired up in groups of 2 and had to work on "Saving Fred," the gummie worm, from sinking in the ocean by placing him in a lifesaver (gummie) vest.
