Building Highlights

District Spelling Bee 2025-26

Pictured below are the 5th grade participants of the District Spelling Bee that was held on Friday, January 16th. From left to right are: Elleann, Brooklyn, Bella, Rozlynn, Autumn and Zederick.

Rozlynn will be moving forward to represent Pat Ham in the County Wide Spelling Bee. Congratulations to all of the students who participated - they all did a great job!!

Below is the 4th grade Spelling Bee team. From left to right in the back row are: Ranyah, Nolan, Tyne and Sammy. The front row is Zeke on the left and Ty'Shon on the right.

Rozlynn Panczak

Rozlynn Panczak earned a hard fought 2nd place finish among the 5th grade students! She will be moving on to compete in the County Spelling Bee on Friday, February 13th, 2026. Congratulations to Rozlynn, we are very proud of you!!

Student of the Month

Student of the Month - Draya Fitchett

Draya Fitchett is our 2nd grade Student of the Month. She was nominated by her teacher, Mrs. Barnes. Draya does an excellent job following the HERO expectations and is a hard worker! Draya loves to read and to play board games with her family. At home, Draya has 2 pets: a kitty named Oreo and a dog named Carmelo. When Draya grows up she would like to be an art teacher because she is great at art! Congratulations Draya!!

Patrick Hamilton Staff Spotlight of the Month

Mrs. McIntyre is the Pat Ham Staff of the Month!! Mrs. McIntyre, or Mrs. Mack to staff and students, is currently a 4th grade teacher but she has also taught 3rd grade here at Pat Ham. Mrs. Mack attended Lewis University to pursue her teaching degree. While Mrs. Mack was growing up, she wanted to be a flight attendance. During the summer months you can find Mrs. Mack poolside at her home here or in Chicago. She has 2 children, Cassidy and Jimmy, and a cute dog named Maverick. Congratulations Mrs. Mack - you help make Pat Ham a great place to be!!
