Justus Gage Families, Welcome back to what will be a fabulous 24-25 school year. We are truly very excited about the upcoming school year. Staff have been working very hard during opening week's professional development and also getting their rooms and materials ready to start the year. It was so great to see our returning and incoming Justus Gage families at Open House Wednesday evening!
Our first week will be full of teaching and reviewing our HERO Expectations: Honesty, Earning and Giving Respect, Responsibility, and Orderly and Safe! We will continue to create a climate that Justus Gage is a place where students want to be, not have to be!
Please remember the importance of attendance; attendance matters!
ARRIVAL TIME: The first bell of the day RINGS at 8:27 for BREAKFAST. Students are allowed in the building at that time if they will be eating breakfast. The start of the school day is 8:41 a.m. Students that arrive between 8:50-9:10 are marked TARDY. If students arrive at 9:11 a.m. or later they are marked ABSENT for the morning.
DISMISSAL TIME: School is dismissed at 3:37 p.m. If a student leaves before 3:06 p.m. they are marked absent for the afternoon.
DISMISSAL DOORS: Students that are in grades 1 & 2 will be dismissed through the POINT doors at the south end of the school. Students in grades 3, 4 & 5 will be dismissed through the OFFICE doors. Kindergarten students will be dismissed at the KINDERGARTEN DOORS.
