Message from the Principal
HERO Expectations: Honesty, Earning and Giving Respect, Responsibility, and Orderly and Safe! After the four-day weekend all classrooms will watch a video which will review our Justus Gage HERO Expectations. Please stress the importance of our expectations as we would like for our students to remember and practice HERO expectations during all phases of the day!
Next week will be our first full week of school! This past week, many of our students were taking I-ready Diagnostic tests for ELA and Math. Please continue to work together and motivate your student to try their best.
Please remember the importance of attendance; attendance matters! We had several students and families that had their student(s) present all four days this week! Great Job!
ARRIVAL TIME: The first bell of the day RINGS at 8:27 for BREAKFAST. Students are allowed in the building at that time if they will be eating breakfast. The start of the school day is 8:41 a.m. Students that arrive between 8:50-9:10 are marked TARDY. If students arrive at 9:11 a.m. or later they are marked ABSENT for the morning.

DISMISSAL TIME: School is dismissed at 3:37 p.m. If a student leaves before 3:06 p.m. they are marked absent for the afternoon.
DISMISSAL DOORS: Students that are in grades 1 & 2 will be dismissed through the POINT doors at the south end of the school. Students in grades 3, 4 & 5 will be dismissed through the OFFICE doors. Kindergarten students will be dismissed at the KINDERGARTEN DOORS.
