Spirit Week and Count Day. All student attending school on Wednesday will receive a cookie, Dowagiac Chieftain bracelet and a free homecoming football game ticket. Please remember the importance of attendance and getting to school on time. Research shows that attendance is an important factor in student achievement. Poor attendance has serious implications for later outcomes as well. Thanks for working together to keep your child healthy and getting your child/student to school on time!
END OF DAY CALLS and PICK UPS: You must call the office by 3:00 p.m. to make arrangements for your student to go home a different way. This is a policy that we have had in place and unfortunately have to enforce. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
