February Student of the Month |

It has been a pleasure to have Grace Schultz in my kindergarten class and to have her be able to be honored as the Justus Gage student of the month.
Grace is the daughter of Kollin and Cassidy Schultz. She has 1 younger brother Micah who is two. They do not have a dog or a cat but they have (she thinks) 22 chickens to take care of at her house.
Grace is an exceptional student who consistently excels in the classroom. Her academic growth is impressive, as evidenced by her scoring in the 93rd percentile for reading and the 95th percentile for math—an achievement reflecting increases of over 22 points and more on these tests.
Her favorite thing to do at school is writing. She really likes it when she gets to have free choice of what to write about so she can write about her family and what they do together. Her family is very important to her. Her favorite thing to do at home is playing with her little brother. Her favorite colors are yellow and purple and when she grows up she would like to be a chiropractor.
Grace is a great example of what it means to be a Justus Gage Hero. She is honest and is always respectful and kind to everyone she interacts with all day long. She always has a smile on her face and is ready to greet you with her quiet voice. She is very responsible to make sure she is doing all of her work the correct way and she even brings in extra work that her family gives her to show me. She is always looking for ways to help by picking up when she sees a mess or something not put away. She is a rule follower and encourages others to do the same.
I am happy I have had the opportunity to show you how amazing Grace is tonight and how proud I am to give her this award. Congratulations Grace Schultz, Justus Gages Student of the month! |
