PTO Popcorn Poppers: Thank you so much Joe Carpenter and Whitney Emerson. These two volunteers showed up to pop popcorn bright and early this morning. With the snow days, we completely forgot to send home a popcorn day reminder. With that being said, each and every student received a free bag of popcorn!!!!!
Dowagiac Resident FOOD PANTRY: The food pantry that is held at the Catholic Church (back parking lot entrance) is open to all Dowagiac residents. It is open the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 10:00 - 2:00.
END OF DAY CALLS and PICK UPS: You must call the office by 3:00 p.m. to make arrangements for your student to go home a different way. This is a policy that we have had in place and unfortunately have to enforce. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
Winter Fest Dress Up Days: All elementary buildings will be participating in Dress up days that are similar to the high school as we want to continue to show school and community spirit throughout the school year. Please have your child participate when able and willing. Please refer to the schedule listed below for the day of each theme.
OUTSIDE RECESS: Please dress your student appropriately for the cold weather. It is our district policy to go outside for recess unless the temp is below 10 degrees w/windchill.
BUS RIDER PARENTS: Please have your student(s) at the bus stop 5-10 minutes early so that our bus drivers can stay on schedule in order for our schools to start on time. Thank you for helping.
