Weekly Highlights

Occupational Education students "volunteering" at Hidden Acres Rescue Farm as they peruse a variety of occupations that align with their EDPs.

Mrs. Hackett and Ms. Ott's Biology classes tested 15 substances to figure out where they fall on the pH scale. Many of these are products we come in contact with in our daily lives.

A group of juniors and seniors attended a college fair hosted at Southwestern Michigan College on Monday, September 23rd. Students had the opportunity to meet with over 50 school representatives. Thank you to Educational Talent Search at SMC for sponsoring our transportation to the fair!

Reminders

Seniors should check the scholarship board regularly for scholarship opportunities and deadlines.
We will be conducting various drills this month including fire, tornado, and lockdown. Please know that unless told otherwise by the school these will be planned drills.

High School Sports Digital Fundraiser

Dowagiac Union High School has been selected as one of the high school sports programs to receive funds from the 2024 McDonald’s High School Sports Digital Fundraiser!

On October 2nd, local area McDonald’s restaurants will be raising money for local high school sports programs. Restaurants will be donating 10% of all digital sales made in the McDonald’s App to your athletic department.

The more orders made in the McDonald’s App, the more money raised for your school! Attached is a graphic for your school that you may print or share online!
