Ferris State/Auto Owners Insurance Challenge

Our 4th hour accounting class participated in the Ferris State/Auto Owners Insurance Challenge. Although disappointed by our 4th place finish which was impacted by simulated hurricanes and stock market crashes. Our Accounting class placed a respectable 4th overall in the competition out of approximately 200+ classes throughout Michigan. Collectively they learned the value of individual leadership skills, competitive analysis breakdowns, data mining and analytics while embracing a teamwork environment.

CTE Spotlight

Auto Shop

Jeremy Tilly went to the 100V EV training Bench for Educators in Tempe, Arizona. "The benches are fully assembled and have functional EV powertrain that enables students and mechanics to wire, diagnose, and program an EV while practicing high voltage safety procedures."

Fascia on a house refers to the horizontal board that extends along the lower edge of the roof. It serves to connect the roof to the outer walls, providing a protective barrier against moisture and environmental elements. This component is integral to the overall structure of the roof.
