These grades have been finalized and are currently being stored in our system. If you would like a "Hard Copy" of your child's report card, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to print one off for you (269) 782-4440. For your convenience, our Main Office will be open from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm daily until Friday, June 6th.

Students at DMS finished the year with a "Celebration" outside. Our DMS PBIS Team coordinated a variety of outdoor activities for them to participate in (e.g. Corn Hole, Wiffle Ball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Frisbee, Tug of War, Sidewalk Chalk, etc.). Students also were also treated to a special end of year breakfast set up by Sodexo's Cafeteria Team prior to the festivities. Thank you to Ms. Deb Cahill, Food Service Director, and her crew for putting this on for everyone!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! We want to give a BIG CHIEFTAIN SHOUT OUT to both Mrs. Kelly Cromer, 7th grade English Teacher & ELA Department Chair and Mrs. Cynthia Hollingsworth, DMS Building Supervisor, for all of the dedication they provided DMS and the district over their careers. Both Mrs. Cromer & Mrs. Hollingsworth will be retiring and moving on to new adventures. We wish you the BEST and will miss you!

Finally, we want to THANK everyone for their support this year in helping us educate and raise our students!

We'll you in the Fall!!

GREAT things are ALWAYS happening at DMS!!

Staff Weekly Updates

Here is what students have been doing in their classrooms

Miss Bulifant

7th Grade Math

For our last week of school your scholars have been learning math in real-world situations, specifically for their future plans! Question of the week: "What Career do I want when I grow up?" - Once your scholars chose their career they started to create a budget spreadsheet including, Savings (10%), Housing (35%), Utilities, Car (15%), and Other Expenses to represent how they should budget their monthly income! Biggest lesson learned this week was - the importance of prioritizing their success in their education to make the big bucks and how important it is to save and spend your money wisely.
