Winter Concerts this week

Roundup and Upcoming Events :

Hello DMS Families,

It was a short week because of the Snow Day on Thursday, December 5th. However, that didn't stop us from having a SUPER week!

Our DMS/ETS Esports Team continue their run to win the MSEL Esports East Regional Championship. They won both of their matches last week and are now in the Semifinals. They will be playing Tuesday, December 10th against the 4th ranked team in the region. If they win that match, they will be in the finals which will be played on Thursday, December 12th. Good Luck Chieftains!

On Friday, December 6th the students at DMS were treated to a Holiday Dance Show put on by our own Miss Michelle & Company Dance Studio. We were not the only one entertained by their performance. Both Justus Gage and Patrick Hamilton Elementary students were in attendance for the program. Everyone enjoyed the show. We want to send out a BIG thank you to MM&C for the invitation and for making this season special!

We would like to invite everyone to our DMS Holiday Concerts this week. Our DUHS and DMS Bands will be performing at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 11th in our Performing Arts Center (PAC) and our DUHS & DMS Choirs will be putting on their show the following day, Thursday, December 12th, at 7 pm in the PAC. We hope you will join us for these two events that we look forward to each year to help spread Holiday Cheer!

REMINDER to families. The end of Semester 1 is upon us. Teachers will be wrapping up their instruction next week with final exams and projects. We ask that you please check your child's status in each of their classes to ensure they have all of their work completed and turned in to earn their BEST grades possible. You can always check their grades and assignments in PowerSchool. Also, schedules for 2nd Semester have already been placed in PowerSchool for your child as well. Please take a moment to review this information over with them, as schedules change when we return from the Holidays.

GREAT things are always happening at DMS!
