Dear Families, We would like to remind families that the back parking lot by the gym is reserved exclusively for school buses during arrival and dismissal times.
When personal vehicles use this area, it creates traffic congestion and unsafe conditions for students who are loading and unloading from buses. For this reason, parents and guardians should not park or drive through the back gym lot at any time. We kindly ask that you use the designated parent drop-off and pick-up areas located at the front of the school. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe environment for all students and staff.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us keep our students safe. Sincerely, Middle School Administration |

7th Grade Math with Miss Bee
Happy New Year 2026! Our first week back has been all about review. Your scholars have been working hard to go over priority standards involving: Unit Rate, Constant of Proportionality, Tables, Graphs, Equations, Fractions, Percents, Simplifying Expressions AND CUBES(math test taking strategies). All this work in preparation for next week where your scholar will take their Middle of the Year Math iReady Diagnostic! We are looking for GROWTH and I cannot wait to celebrate those gains :)

Mrs. Cline - Art
Before break, a few students had the opportunity to learn how to throw on a pottery wheel. The students made the arrangements to stay after school to learn this new skill once the opportunity presented itself. Each student really enjoyed this experience and are eager to get back on the wheel. More students will be able to learn how to throw on the wheel this semester as well. |
Mrs. Stanford 6th Grade Social Studies
Since returning from winter break students have begun learning about the history West of the Mississippi, identifying Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How. Students were in groups and read individual sections of this week's lesson, created notes, a presentation, and then shared their findings with the class. This activity has allowed students to practice group collaboration, critical thinking, organization, and research skills. Students also are working on vocabulary terms and definitions relating to the lesson and will be taking a quiz next Tuesday. Lastly, to relieve some of the pressures of returning to school we ended some of our classes by playing a geography version of silent ball. Students catch the inflatable globe and identify a country, continent, state, or even a body of water. This game allows them to become more familiar with the globe and places around the world without the pressure of remembering it all.
