Hello DMS Families,
Before the break students were busy finishing up assignments and taking tests/exams to be graded by teachers in preparation for the end of the 1st Semester of the school year.
The week was highlighted by our 7th and 8th grade Boys Basketball Teams wrapping up their season playing 2 home games against Brandywine and Lakeshore Middle Schools. Both teams worked hard over the course of the year and we are proud of their efforts both on and off the court. Our Cheer Team also ended their sideline cheer season as well. We want to thank all of our coaches for the support and time they put into our student-athletes. Coach Keoante Blackamore (8th grade Boys Basketball), Donovan Sullivan (7th grade Boys) & Sara Melvin (6th-8th grade Sideline Cheer).
Furthermore, we would like to congratulate DUS Choir Director Hunter Schuur and our 6th-8th grade Choir Students for their outstanding performance on Wednesday, December 18th. Together with the DUHS Choirs, they delivered a wonderful Holiday Show to a packed audience in our Performing Arts Center. We would also like to give a special DMS Chieftains "Shout-Out" to Mr. Steve Zebell for his accompaniment on the piano. Thank you for your continued support.
